PREPARATION AND APPLICATION

Thoroughly mix the contents in the original packaging using a mixer and, if necessary, dilute with up to 0.8% water. The substrate must be solid, dry, free from frost and cleaned of dust, grease and salts. Before applying the render, the substrate must be treated with a suitable façade primer. We recommend Putz Primer (drying time: 24 hours).

Apply the render manually and evenly using a stainless-steel trowel to a thickness corresponding to the grain size, or mechanically using an appropriate spray gun to a thickness slightly greater than the grain size.

New cement or lime-cement renders must be allowed to dry for at least 28 days, while thermal insulation render must dry for 5–7 days under normal weather conditions (at a temperature of approximately +20°C and a relative air humidity of 65%).

After a short drying period, Acryl Putz R20 can be textured as desired in circular, vertical or horizontal movements using a hard plastic trowel. When applying the product to multi-storey buildings, work should be carried out simultaneously on all storeys.

Clean any stained areas and tools with water immediately after use. The temperature of the air, material and substrate during application must be between +5°C and +30°C. Do not apply the render to surfaces exposed to direct sunlight or during windy, foggy or rainy weather. Protect the façade with suitable protective sheeting.

STORAGE

Store the product in its original, factory-sealed packaging, in a dry and well-ventilated area at a temperature between +5°C and +30°C. Protect from direct sunlight.

SHELF LIFE

18 months from the date of manufacture. The date of manufacture is printed on the packaging.
