ATLAS SMS 60
Cement-Based Self-Leveling Floor Compound with GEL Technology
Product ID: 522-4319_ATLAS SMS 60ATLAS SMS 60 ULTRA is a cement-based self-leveling compound designed for leveling substrates in thicknesses from 3 to 60 mm, both for local unevenness and where a completely level surface is required throughout an entire room. It can also be used to raise the floor level across the entire area, for example when floor heights between adjacent rooms need to be equalized.
It can be applied in a wide range of areas, including living rooms, hallways, offices, public and service facilities, as well as rooms with increased humidity, such as bathrooms. It can also be used as a final floor layer without additional floor coverings.
ATLAS SMS 60 ULTRA is an ideal choice for professionals looking for easy application, fast installation, and versatile use in various types of floor constructions, including underfloor heating systems.
■ High-quality dry cement-based mixture
■ Excellent flow properties, providing a smooth and level surface even in large areas without the need for leveling guides
■ Rapid setting, allowing subsequent work to begin quickly
■ Suitable for both manual and machine application
■ Very low linear shrinkage
- Setting time: approx. 50 min
- Service strength: after approx. 2.5 h
- Walkable after: 2 h
- Further work after: 16 h
- Linear shrinkage: ≤ 0.6 mm/m
- Consumption: 1.6 kg/m² per 1 mm of thickness
- Classification: C35/F9
Substrate preparation: Recommended for leveling existing screeds, including heated, cement, and anhydrite screeds, where unevenness prevents the installation of the final floor covering and an additional leveling layer is required.
Suitable as a substrate for:
- Tiles
- PVC and textile floor coverings
- Wood panels and laminate
- PVC panels
- Epoxy and polyurethane finishing coatings
- Parquet
- Epoxy flooring systems
GEL Technology enables the consistency and flow properties of the compound to be adjusted, improving workability and allowing the material to adapt to specific application conditions. The technology also enables the strength parameters to be tailored to different load conditions.
It optimizes the cement hydration process and the rate of strength development, helping to reduce shrinkage and the risk of cracking. The wide range of permissible water quantities allows the flow and strength parameters to be adjusted according to application requirements.
