Product ID: 22201015 - Parfix PU 71High-quality two-component polyurethane adhesive. Suitable for gluing massive, larger dimensions parquet, multilayer parquet (Tarkett), mosaic parquet, classic parquet, laminate flooring, parquet from exotic types of wood as for underfloor heating.
• EXTENDED TIME OF PROCESSING 60-80 MIN
• SUITABLE FOR UNDERFLOOR HEATING
• HIGH VALUE OF SHEAR FORCE
The adhesive must be prepared in the exact specified ratio. Pour the entire contents of Component B into the container with Component A. When preparing a smaller quantity, add exactly 7:1 of Component B to 1 kg of Component A. Mix both components thoroughly using a slow-speed mixer. Pay special attention to the sides and bottom of the container, scraping them with a spatula to ensure that Component B is fully mixed in.
Apply PARFIX PU71 parquet adhesive to the prepared substrate using a notched trowel. Due to variations in materials and working conditions, it is recommended to first perform a test application on a small area to verify the suitability of PARFIX PU71 parquet adhesive under actual site conditions. After testing, prepare and apply only as much adhesive as can be used to install the parquet within 60–80 minutes. Working time is reduced at higher temperatures and humidity and extended at lower temperatures and humidity.
Lay the parquet onto the adhesive layer so that it is fully supported over the entire surface. Fresh residues of PARFIX PU71 parquet adhesive must be removed immediately using PARFIX PU CLEANER, as cured adhesive can only be removed mechanically, which may cause stains on the parquet. Leave an expansion gap of 1–2 cm between the wall and the parquet. Further processing of the parquet, including sanding and lacquering, is possible 24 hours after bonding.
