One-component isocyanate-based polyurethane primer. It is used as a primer to improve adhesion on surfaces such as concrete, mortar and wood, and is also suitable for underfloor heating systems.

Preparation and application

surface should be clean, solid, dry, pressure resistant, cleaned from dust and grease. Apply primer with roller with short pile or with fine paint brush. If the surface is highly absorbant, apply primer in two layers. Apply the second layer only after the first one has dried (2–3 hours). It could be used as a moisture vapour barrier on screeds up to 3% humidity, make sure to apply it in min. two layers until the substrate is completely saturated. Glue the parquet onto the clean surface within 24 to 72 hours only by using reactive adhesives PARFIX PU 101, PU 71, EPU 91 and SMP HYBRID

approx. 0,18-0,25 l/m² depending on absorbtion and roughness of surface and way of application

Application temperature

optimal working temperature +18°C to +25°C with max. relative air humidity 60%. Do not use under +15°C

Allowed content of moisture in concrete

the humidity of the substrate when laying the parquet must not be higher than 2.00%, while with the application of PARFIX PU PRIMER RAPID the surface can contain up to max. 3.00% moisture
