MORE ABOUT THE PRODUCT

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION:
The substrate must be compact, solid, free from loose or poorly bonded parts and sufficiently cured. All existing coatings must be physically removed beforehand. The substrate must also be free from separating layers such as bitumen, grease and oil. Before bonding to highly absorbent substrates, the surface must be treated with an appropriate primer.

ADHESIVE PREPARATION:
Mix ThermoFlex 100 with 5.0–6.0 l of water to the required consistency using a mixer at a maximum speed of 500 rpm until a homogeneous, lump-free paste is obtained. Allow to stand for 10 minutes, then mix again.

ADHESIVE APPLICATION:
ThermoFlex 100 adhesive must be applied exclusively to the back of the thermal insulation board. On even substrates, apply the adhesive over the entire surface of the thermal insulation board using an appropriate notched trowel, ensuring that the adhesive layer does not exceed 10 mm in thickness. On uneven substrates, apply the adhesive using the perimeter-and-point method: apply a strip of adhesive at least 8 cm wide around the perimeter of the board and several adhesive dabs with a minimum diameter of 10 cm in the central area. After installation, the adhesive must cover at least 50% of the board surface.

BONDING THERMAL INSULATION BOARDS:
Position the prepared board lightly against the substrate and then press it firmly into place. Boards must be installed with staggered vertical joints in relation to the previous row and without gaps between adjacent boards. At building corners, the boards must be installed with alternating overlaps. Around façade openings, the boards must be appropriately cut to fit.

MECHANICAL FIXING – DOWELS:
Mechanical fixing with dowels is possible 48–72 hours after bonding. A minimum of 6 dowels/m² must be installed. The dowel length must be sufficient to ensure an anchoring depth of at least 30 mm into the substrate.

REINFORCEMENT AND SKIM COATING:
Reinforcement and skim coating may be carried out immediately after mechanical fixing with dowels. If dowels are not used, these operations may be carried out 24 hours after bonding.

STORAGE:
Store in a cool, dry place in the original, factory-sealed packaging.

SHELF LIFE:
12 months from the date of manufacture printed on the bag.
